Built for a real life

Three reasons our clients finally pick up the phone.

01

Home Renovation Retreat

Live on the lawn while the kitchen comes apart. A full-comfort cabin that keeps the family routine running through every stage of the build.

02

Family Annexe

Independence at the bottom of the path. Self-contained living for parents or in-laws, with the heating, plumbing and quiet they actually want.

03

First Home for the Kids

A genuine first step onto their own front step. Insulated year-round living that buys time, deposit room, and a little hard-earned privacy.

The Range

Bespoke by design.

Every build is unique to its garden, its brief and its owner. No catalogue, no fixed sizes — cabins and pools are drawn from scratch and signed off by Mark personally.

Why Handy Haunts

Seventeen years of cabins, none of them quite the same.

01 — Craft

Hand-built by people who care where you sit on a Sunday morning.

Every cabin is dry-jointed in our Northumberland workshop before it ever sees a lorry. The same four joiners do the build, the install, and the snag list. No subcontractors disappearing at 4pm.

Architectural plan overlaid on a garden site survey

02 — Bespoke

We start with your plot, not a brochure page.

Window placement, eaves, door swing, ridge height — drawn to suit your view, your boundary, and the way light actually moves across your garden. Permitted-development sized as standard.

03 — End to end

From the first site visit to the last brass screw.

Foundations, electrics, plumbing, MVHR, decking — handled by our team. One contract, one number to call, one date in the diary. You get a finished room, not a kit on a pallet.

In Their Words

The kind of feedback we save for the workshop wall.

We lived in ours for nine months while the house was gutted. By month two we'd half-decided we preferred the cabin. Mark's team kept their promises to the day.

Testimonial 1

Mum has her independence back, we have ours, and Sunday lunch happens twenty paces from the back door. Worth every penny — and there were a lot of pennies.

Rohan Aldridge

Frome, Somerset

Testimonial 2

Asked for something that wouldn't shout in the garden. They drew it three times until it sat right with the boundary trees. Quietly excellent work.
